I've been searching for a good inexpensive microdermabrasion for a while now. Any suggestions? Note: Ive already tried St. Ives, philosophy, dr. brandt, and biore.

Any other good recommendations? My dark eye rings seemed more obvious through the years.

My daughter has severe dark circles, and recently bought this product. I've read the reviews, and most of the users were people over 35. I was wondering if this collagen eye serum is safe for my daughter, who is 14. Does it cause wrinkles? Makes skin aging faster? If you use this product, tell me how much it works for you and how old you are approximately (say like you're 12 - 10,18 - 25, or 25 - 30)? My daughter already used it once, so we can't return it anymore.

Just wondering, as a last resort. I have tried, benzoyl peroxide for about 4-5 months, didnt work, made it worse. Tried Murad treatment, 3-4 months, did great, but still a ton of marks and starting to get bad again. Tried differen, dr.brandt, so im really out of choices here, should i take accutane? Ive had acne, severe for about 2 years and im tired of waking up each day cleansing face, then worrying about how bad i look, i just want the accutane to compeltely get rid of it, will it work? Should i take it?

My face skin has lots of blackheads and whiteheads. I do my skin care routine regularly like steaming, removing these blackheads and whiteheads with special tool remover, then use Dr. Brandt exfoliator cream for exfoliation, then apply facial mask on, but my skin still looks very dull. There's no brightness and it is still not smooth. I use Clinique Even Better cream but don't see a difference at all. Any suggestions to what I should try? Thanks guys.

I went over to provide medical care as a RN FNP retired Major. The CEO is Muhammad Ahmed of Amina Corp and his medical clinic(S3) is on the base at Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan. S3 had posters at all the bus stops advertising to all contractors that one of their faculty/staff members is a Dr Stanley Brandt. I know Stanley personally, he is an EMT not a "Dr" nor does he have a PhD. The posters had been at the bus stops for several months. I went to Stanley and he knew it was wrong. To me and to anyone with a connecting neuron would call this obvious deception and medical fraud, open and shut. Stanley by definition was complicate by not correcting it when he know he was not a "Dr". Many who are military understand the slang term of endearment being called "doc". But that is not to be confused with an "Official" marketing poster listing an American EMT as Dr. Stanley Brandt. I ran into an American who told me she "saw that American Doctor" and pointed at the name of Stanley Brandt on the poster. I took the poster to the local CID and they seemed to be interested, but I found out later they were not per their Special Agent Robinson. I realize this is not to the level like Blackwater/Xe shooting up innocent civilians in an intersection in Baghdad or a drunken Jimmy Buffet party put on at the US Embassy in A-stan by the Armor Group or even one of their medics a former 82 Abn who bragged on how to beat a DUI/DWI by eating peanut M and M's. How about WWLR World Wide Language Resources out of Fayetteville, NC allowing their in country manager mock openly 2 individuals over their medical problems, one a TCN third country national with a facial tic, the other an American women with bad teeth. BTW He was not fired until a month or two later when caught in a DUI at Bagram Airbase. The person who did write him up was fired for going to the CEO Larry Costas with the complaint. Just situations that have occurred. I might mention going back to S3 and Muhammad Ahmed, I still have not been paid one cent for my 2 weeks in A-stan. The CID should be interested in medical fraud esp with American contractors going to S3 for medical care. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many think I'm just a trouble maker, but as an idealistic nurse albeit advanced practice I have to take my nursing oath to heart and do what's right in-spite of losing friends and being blacklisted etc Respectfully Mike "Major Dad" Reisman Maj-Ret RN CS FNP/PA

I had acne for atleast 2 years, it has gotten pretty bad and then better, then worse, then all of a sudden over night, maybe 2 nights, my whole face is brighter, less scars, i can barely see any of it in the mirror in a bright light, i dont have pimples, i have scars, and im about to turn 16 in a few days, which is the worst age for acne, but if it is all of a sudden getting better maybe i already changed and my hormones are going back to normal? if it will help, im using dr. brandt or brandi or whatever its called

So help please. Can someone tell me whether it works ? Cos i seriously dont wanna end up wasting my money again on useless face products.

I'm allergic to a host of things from antiobiotics to cats but I don't have any food allergies that I know of. I never really eat peanuts or anything with peanuts in it but I bought some peanut butter to see if my son would like it. As I was spreading the chunky peanut butter on his toast a huge glob fell on my hand. I didn't wash it off just yet because my son was hungry and I had to put him in his high chair, feed him etc. I then began to notice my hand started to burn and itch where the big peanut butter glob was. I wiped it off to reveal a huge hive. I washed my hands thoroughly and took some benedryl and it subsided. I was wondering if this sounds like a mild peanut allergy? Can u get a hive just from touching peanut butter? I know when I was younger my dr thought I had a food allergy but my parents wouldn't fallow the brandt diet and didn't keep a journal of what I ate and I was much too young to do it myself. The food allergy symptoms subsided because I decided to eat more plain foods on my own like rice crispies for breakfast etc. P.s sorry for the poor grammer, I'm using a mobile

I got acne when I was just short of my twelfth birthday, and it got extremely severe over the next year. I tried Clearisil, Neutrogena, Clinique, Dr. Brandt and Proactive, and then it went from terrible to hellish after the Proactiv. So I finally got myself into a dermatologist (I didn't slack off, it takes a loooong time in Canada) and was put on Minocylin, 200 mg a day. I've been on it for the past five months and my skin got amazingly clear and almost perfect around month three, but just before it's beginning to reach the sixth month mark it's starting to come back. I broke out on my back, chest, and now it's starting at my hairline. I'm so scared it's going to start all over again. My derm said I could come back anytime if I needed something else, and he suggested Accutane, but there's only a 1% chance I'd ever try it. However, I've been having 17 day periods, discolored menstrual blood, super short periods severe enough that I couldn't walk, etc. Basically, I think I have somehthing hormonally wrong with me. Again, I'm trying to see a doctor but it's taking a while, though I managed to get an appointment nine months ago (I know, Canada). So, what if I try the pill? If you have tried the pill for your acne or have a close friend or family member who has and you know details about the experience and also what dosage and brand the pills were, etm, please tell me your thoughts and advice. If my situation sounds similar to yours, or if you know anything, please let me know the pros and cons and what to expect, or if it's an option likely to work. If you have had a situation like mine and urine therapy or any other treatment has worked, I'm open minded & more than willing to here about that too.

I am 14, and in the 8th grade. I really want clear flawless skin-too the point that I barely have to wear makeup ! My skin gets dry in the winter, but other than that it is combination. I have big pores around my t-zone, and black heads on my nose, and I break out quite a few ! Though I barely have any discoloration. What are some skin products that you have used that really helped, im also tempted to use Dr.Brandt Pores No More skin care thingy, has anyone used it ? Well thanks for the help (:

at sephora. it says that one dropper full is = to 15 cups of green tea and that it will brighten your skin. it contains green tea, white tea, and grape seed extract with concentrated polyphenois. so since its equal to 15 cups of green tea and green tea helps you lose weight, would this help with weight loss on top of being good for the skin?

Hi, I've been using the pores no more skincare line by Dr. Brandt and I've noticed that my face gets red after the routine, does this mean that I might be allergic to some of the ingredients, or that it's irritating my skin, or is it normal? What are some of the best skincare lines available for lightening your skin? I'm talking about high end products that actually show results.

it doesn't cause me to break out? It has oils in its ingredients

My skin is naturally oily and whenever I use a microdermabrasion cream (by Dr. Brandt) you have to scrub it really hard for like 3 minutes in each area of your face, and that never makes my skin oilier. But recently I bought a clarisonic skin care pro brush and it's made my skin really smooth but a lot oilier.

I have huge pores on my cheeks and I have tried practically everything and nothing helps to conceal them. Before I put makeup on I use Dr. Brandt pore no more, which is a very expensive primer that has very good reviews. After I put this on my pores are still very large and makeup still sinks into them and creates little tan dots of makeup all over. After I put the pore no more on, I add an additional primer with a green tint by Smashbox, which is also a expensive well known brand and once again I am unable to put makeup on. If I use liquid with or without primer, the makeup sinks into my pores to create a bunch of dots, and if I am to use powder, the primer absorbs it and makes my skin look even worse. The main reason I want to wear makeup so much is not only to conceal pores, but to conceal my very very very red complexion.

My boyfriend just came back from the Army and I love the fact that he's with me but his facial skin looks horrible. He used to have this baby skin and all he used was a Neutrogena moisturizer. Right now he has blackhead throughout his face (not only nose) and huge pores and I feel really bad. He's using more expensive stuff now like Lab Series, PTR, and Dr.Brandt but his facial skin doesn't seem to get better. He's only 23 and his facial pores & blackheads make him look like he's in his 30s. Is there any skincare products or natural remedies? No Acne Product Advertising please..

OK - here's the deal. Im 33 years old and my face is so shiny you can fry an egg on it. Oviously its not teenage hormones. And its been like this for as long as I can remember. Its pretty clear for the most part, occasional breakout, no big deal. I use RetinA Micro .10% to combat fine lines and also keep clear. Ive been on this for over a year and my pores havent shrunk and still produce a massive amount of oil. My regular routine: Wash with neutrogena anti-acne foaming cleanser in the morning, and I use a light moisterizer before makeup (I'll get to that in a sec). At night, I wash with Dermologica salysilic acid wash, then use the RetinA Micro at least 5 nights a week, when I dont use that I use Benzaclin, followed by night cream/moisterizer (oil free). Sometimes I use Freeze 24/7 double scoop anti-aging cream. OK, now makeup - all I use is dermologica tinted moisterizer, concealer ONLY on a red spot or something, and makeupforever loose powder (its a talc to absorb oil). Like I said, pretty clear for the most part, so I dont use tons of makeup and NEVER use foundation. Here's the kicker... by 11am, Im so greasy Im reflecting light!!!! I hate to make a joke out of it but its true. Its not the tinted moisterizer because I tried eliminating that and it still happened. Yes, I use the oil absorbing papers (tea tree oil ones or lavendar ones from Body Shop). Thing is - I own my own company and Im always on presentations or meetings, and I just dont want to have to deal with sticking this paper thing on my face 7 times a day (at least - and they are always FULL of oil!!). YUCK!!! What is worng with me and how can I get it to stop??? Or at least slow down. Also, I use Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion 2-3 times a week to exfoliate, and yes I use clay masks to absord oil at least weekly. Ive tried facials, Ive tried different products (DHC, which is supposed to be GREAT at stopping oil, never lessened it, Aveeno never lessened it, Biore never lessened it, etc). I dont know what to do...Im at a loss for words, and I swear every time Im with a client they are looking at my greasy face. I can swipe a finger on my skin and spread it across my lips as CHAPSTICK to stop chapped lips!!! Im not kidding! It was bad enough dealing with these problems as a kid but as a successful adult its just damaging my morale in all aspects of life. Does any one know ANYTHING that could help??? Anything.... thanks.

I love Dr. Brandt's Pores No More, which definitely helps reduce facial pores, but i am really looking for something to reduce facial lines, if you have used this product, let me know how the results were. Thanks

Does it work well? Rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst.

I was already PO'D enough when I heard about Marlena & John but at least they will re unite. I haven't heard of any plans to recast Phil, plus I liked Kyle Brandt better. SO I assume Phil is going to written of soon too correct? I also heard a rumor about Stephen Nichols (Patch). Maybe it IS a rumor ....We can't have Kayla w/o Patch. If they wanted to get rid of some people I could have told them to axe Chloe, Nicole, Have Kate die from cancer, & Dr. Daniel Jerkhead. Sorry if i was ranting so my questions are Does any1 know for sure if Nick is leaving? Same thing about Patch? Is Phil going to be written off the show or recast? Answers to any of these 3 will help.

I have used Chanel skin care products for 8 years. For years, it worked wonders. I still don't have any visible lines. And I don't want to get any lines. I heard from a friend of my mother's that I should change my skincare regimen every season or every year. I am wondering if there's any reputable brand (except for Dr. Brandt, Clarins and Clinique) that will help my skin shine, become luminous, and prevent wrinkles from appearing.

I have a oily T-zone area, my cheeks seem to be normal and around my mouth tends to get dry. I am currently looking for the best facial cleanser, toner and moisturizer for my face. I have tried Clinique, Origins and Dr. Brandt. I am mainly concerned with the oily T-zone area. What products do you use and how well does it tame the oil for you?
08/05/2008 05:38 AM
If you do, what type of skin do you have and how is it working out for you? I have combination skin. My T-zone is oily, but around my mouth is dry. I am looking for a new skin care regimen that can take care of that. I got a skin consultation today at Sephora and I bought a few things, but I am wondering how these brands worked for you.

or other suggestions for skin care and skin lightening?

My face is really blemishy, i was wonder... should i just go proactive, or i read reviews on Dr. Brandt Pores No More, sounds very realiable, but... does it have SPF??? If I apply my lancome moisturizer on top of it, will it leave the oily streak? (my moisturizer is spf 35) It's $45 for 1oz!!! So yea... before I actually buy it i need to know if I'm going to be 100% satisfied with the product. I'm very willing to pay since my moisturizer is close to that range already... Last sub question, where can I get a free sample of this???
06/25/2008 05:18 PM
is there any product that will give me flawless skin in a short period of time? I eat healthy, drink water and wash my face daily but my skin still has spots. I heard Dr. Brandt Pores No More is really good, has anyone tried it?
05/06/2008 06:32 AM
I'm using pore essentials by dr. brandt and i've only been using it for a week. it consists of a cleanser, toner, gel, and mousterizer. i'm breaking out more than before. my mom and best friend says it's because it's just bringing out all the bad in my face and it's a good thing for it to break out more. is this true?
04/11/2008 01:03 AM
Hey so I have oily / combination skin. I'm 19. My skin doesn't usually break out that much but every once in a while (like yesterday) I might get a couple of those underground sore pimples on my cheeks (usually because of stress) So last night I put a pretty generous amount of acne medicine on the spots, and this morning--the pimples went down (which is great!) but I have flakes everywhere on the cheeks of my face. I just used my dr. brandt microdermabrasion scrub to exfoliate then moisturized with clinique moisture surge cream and then everything looked good until I put on my liquid foundation--there are flakes galore!! I'm freaking out because I have a date tonight so I need like a quick at home remedy, or something I can easily get at like CVS. Thanks!!!

Hey people! My skin is a little uneven, and my pores are somewhat larger than i want them to be)..& when it comes to the decision of what to use for my skin..I can't choose whether to get a foundation, a cream, or..scrub, or just cover up my face with a makeup powder. Most of the time, I buy a powder that people say worked fantastically, but the product usually ends up looking too light or too caked, generally worst than before! I go to sephora.com and I was thinking about getting "Dr. Brandt Pores No More" it got great reviews in a magazine I read. If you have ever used this product, or "Purity Made Simple" by Philosophy... can I please get your reviews. (If you have used neither of these products, could you share a product you have used on your face that left it more radiant and toned, less blotchy) (One more thing! Nothing that will leave the skin too dry, just something to calm down my pores, and releave my skin of tiny blemishes) Thanks!!! =) http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj97/anniegirl155/prettty.jpg up close my pores are larger. sort of shiny in my t-zone and forehead.
03/17/2008 11:18 PM
does anyone know where i can buy DR Brandt products specifically the poreless range in the UK? I've looked on google and there is one shop and they are so overpriced, i refuse to pay, and strawberry.net dont do the full range. thanks

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P150707&categoryId=B70 laser a peel? is it effective, it looks like the ingredients are but i wsnt to see if other people have had good results since it is pricy
02/02/2008 07:13 PM
the ingredients in it are all natural i believe, and it seems like it's worth the money, but i would rather ask someone who has actually used it before purchasing it.

Lift Fusion, Prevage, Dr.Brandt, Dr.Perricone, some of these cost about $570 a bottle. That's insane, and all these cosmetics and makeup promise you so much, yet seem to fall short, or work just as well as anything you can buy in CVS or a much cheaper store. How could these people charge what they do, for products that don't really deliver? AND, if you really want to look your best, or take years off your face, would a plastic surgeon be the best bet to go? I'm only 26, yet I feel like I'm 40. I get called sir everywhere I go, people generally assume I'm in my 30s, I look older than I am, and I've already had a nose job and a chin implant, which I don't know, didn't really do all that much. I've used so many cosmetics, and it only wastes your money as they really don't deliver at all, most of them. At least as much as they promise. What plastic surgery procedures at my age, can make me look like a healthy normal 25 year old, and not like I'm 15 years older? I've always felt awkward because I looked so much older than I really was, and even at college people were surprised that i was still in college, and surprised that i was "only" in my early 20s. HELP!

I am considering purchasing Pore No more by Dr. Brandt from Sephora. Has anyone else used it? Do your mores STAY small after you wash off the cream? Also, I want to get rid of a bit of stretch marks. Should I used StriVectin? Don't talk about Cocoa Butter because that crap DOES NOT get rid of scars or stretch marks ......... I know that there are a few type-os. IT wouldn't let me edit it so get over it.

I'm only 25, but I've already experimented with countless of anti-aging products since I already started aging. Yep even at 25, ya do. You start looking 30. :-/ Yeah I know it's all inevitable, but at least you can age gracefully. I tried popular products like LiftFusion, Prevage, Dr.Perricone, Kinerase, even Dr.Brandt products with little success. Dr.Brandt products and Kinerase seem to work pretty well, as the others seem to be more hype and less delivery. Dermatologists/Plastic Surgeons offices have a few things here and there, and ONLY the high-end stuff from Neiman Marcus seems to really do anything really noticeable, like the French products "NaturaBisse." Which is around $300 average and on up. It's amazing that trying to take care of yourself is SO expensive, time consuming and in the end, maybe not worth it. It seems to be much easier to just let go, but then you'll go to manure rather quickly. lol. Is plastic surgery really the only way? LOL no offense guys but I was looking for something a bit more educated and...you know...a BETTER answer than "USE SUNBLOCK every day." AS if that wasn't common sense.
